Hi! I own a beautiful, one and a half year old dwarf mix named Cookie. Today, he started doing what looks like chasing his tail. He only does it in one spot, and I can’t pinpoint why. We recently treated him for pasteurella, and we had him at he vet yesterday. The Vet noticed nothing out of the ordinary– no fleas, no ear infections, nothing wrong with his skin or fur. Only a likelihood of allergies. The only thing that has been changed in his routine today is that I gave him a small piece of papaya to help digestion with any fur that may have been ingested while he grooms.

Should this tail chasing be something to worry about?

Not something I’ve ever seen a bun do. If it continues, I would mention it to the vet.

Is he chasing his tail? Or is he running in circles?… around you?
