Jerseygirl, I put them together for that competition but couldn’t upload them. I’ve worked out the problem now (I’m just not techno-savvy!) and I’ve entered the competition. There are some beautiful pictures on there, and a bun that loks just like Charlie!

Monochrome is supposed to be superior in detail to color photos. I used to not like it, but I think it looks great now.

Did you use some kind of filter to soften that last picture? I tried all the filters in my Picture It program and none of them really make my picture look as ‘squishy’ as yours.

(Pip looks like she needs to have a red rose in her teeth in this shot.)

Mimzum: I love the pic of your Mini-Rex. You can see the nice velvety texture of his fur. The look on his face just really reminds me of Stormy.

lolz, LPT, Fiver always manages to look so startled, even when he’s relaxing. Too much coffee. >.<

I used Picaso to edit them and just adjusted the sharpness to soften it, and then usedthe light and contrast to make them look darker. I know nothing about photography or editing so I just played until they looked like I wanted them to look. If I had to do it again, they’d look completely different!

Yup. I do that too. And when I’m really not paying attention, I sometimes save over the original photo with a change I hadn’t meant to make and it just frosts me. >.< I've got to remember to make back-ups of everything, I mess up more pix that way.

Well I love what you did with your photos. Picasso, you say? I haven’t heard of that program before. What other features does it have, if you don’t mind my asking?

What if some evil forum member just happened to save the toe pic and has done some crafty editing of said pic and may just randomly post Cassi’s toes about the forum whenever the mood strikes her?……………….

Bf has kindly corected me, it’s Picasa2 not Picasso lol. Umm, I don’t know much about it, it just does normal boring stuff like red eye reduction, light-dark, contrast, sharpness. It also does a few effects like B&W, sapia, you can fliter light, saturate light & colours. It’s a lot of fun to mess around with

Yes, Pip is a single maned lionhead palomino cross. And I DO mean CROSS. ^_^ Little Miss Cranky Pants is her newest nickname.
Thanks for the kind comments on the pix. I am not much of a photographer, but I do like fiddling with images in a good program. THe Picasa2 sounds like my Picture It, actually.
