  Our two lop ears have a hutch, a run and a litter tray. They have been pretty much using the large litter tray 80-90% of the time, quite happily. With the bad winter weather, they clearly decided they weren’t going out of the hutch for anything and started pooing at the bottom of the ramp inside the hutch. Now that the snow is gone and everything’s back to normal, they’re still going there and I have to sweep it out every day.
  
  When I first got the rabbits, they didn’t have a litter tray and would mainly go in their bedding, so this is a completely new place for them to go.
  
  How do I ‘encourage’ them to start using the litter tray again and discourage them from going at the bottom of the ramp?

  Maybe put the litter tray at the bottom of the ramp?
  
  And then slowly move it back to where it was before? (and also deodorize the new area with vinegar).
