Change in Pippin’s behaving and also BLACK CLOVES help pleae !

Good day everyone. It’s me with Pippin again.

he’s roughly 4 month old now and from cute little fluffy ball he is growing fast into bunny who observe and nibble everything, we got to nails clipping and I got all my stuff, towel, watched video on youtube (after my vet done terrible job last month in room on her own so I don’t know if she clipped them or not) …. he’s happy to lie on his back we done it, he remained about minute while me petting him and I let him go and he came back and laid down again…. all good but after my first try, his nails are black. If I flashlight them they are just dark no blood visible…. LOL why I always have to have that harder option? How much do I clip? I didn’t do it at all but he needs it as he scratched me badly his nails are long he is digging everything trying to make them smaller….. How much o I take off? Anyone with black nails ?? thanks

Also, he understnds litter training well (as I thought so) but today he went to my bed and pooed and urinated big time !!! My bed is king size sooo expensive duvet and as I was raging I just washed it in sink and told him no and put him to cage he has where his litter tray is ( shall U pit tray outside?) he never done this before….. it’s weird….. Do you think it’s due to vegetable? Since he has kale, he urinated a lot. Shall I stop giving it to him? Move his litter tray? Or maybe only let him go in hallway and kitchen – livingroom ( it’s one room in my flat) …. ohhh hope you guys know what to do as I don’t !

I think he’s starting puberty. That gives them an urge to pee and pop mark their territory. You should look into getting him neutered. Until then, block his access to beds and sofas.
As for black claws, I have no good advice. My Bam has black claws.
I do a “test run” on each claw before I do the actual cut, that way he can flinch if I’m too close to the quick, and I can move the clipper further out.

oh, OK I will get him done I will book an appointment asap. They said they will microchipped him when he will get done later on, so it will be less painfull for him.

Oh thanks for an advice, I am going to do it today as I found video with man cutting black cloves and seen how I should press first (exactly what you said) …. oh at least I will learn how to do it my friends say to me I should let vet do it but he’s my bunbun and I am his mommy and I want to look after him he trusts me more then doctors….

This morning I left him in vets to get spayed I kissed him good bye she laughed at me haha …. I was as scared as he was. He will be fine but I am not able to think while he is there he’s my baby. Luke is picking him up at 3pm (in 5 hours) . He will get microchip as well as once he is sleeping, it won’t hurt him.

I have done his nails we sat on sofa me, pippin and luke, I turned him on back on towel and luke was stroking his nose and talking to Pippin and he was nice and calmed down his nails are black on the top but if you look from the bottom they have white stripe ,… strange but I could see blood. And on black nail it was dark purple so I cut them nicely and filed sharp edges he was fine with it …..

Oh thank you He went through it well. I came to pick him up and had only carrier from bf’s mum as she has big carrier and I didn’t put towel in and seen everyone else did so I took my jacket off and gave it to him and he cuddled up into it. He was strange he was just sleeping and his eyes were different for that day and day after and now he’s fine. I didn’t check his belly I didn’t want him to get scared…. But he’s okay he still poops a bit on sofa haha they said that it will take up to 6 weeks for all hormones to kind of leave his body completely. Bless him xxx
