I know a lot of people were concerned with my buns behavior. I have two intact bunnies of opposite  genders in the same room. They seemed like they were bonding but y’all informed me they were just eager to mate and it was dangerous especially with their size difference. They were finding their ways into each other’s enclosures despite my best efforts. Especially in the middle of the night. While Chai can’t hurt herself under our bed it was her way into Frankie’s area. Worry not! Frankie will be neutered within the week and I have finally found way way to secure Chai’s space. Wont try bonding them again until at least 2 months after Frankie’s neutering. I still have high hopes for bonding because even when they would spend hours together unattended (me and my husband were asleep :(.))) they didn’t hurt each other or really seem to even care too much about each other, other then finding them cuddled up and asleep together. I would attribute that to Chai being so young she hadn’t even reached a point of being able to reproduce yet. What do y’all think? (Please don’t judge her enclosures mess I literally clean every day but fluff butt drags her mess all over)

Thanks for the update, sounds like a much better setup!  I agree things have likely been peaceful due to the fact that she is still a baby, along with the hormones.

FYI: Chai also needs to be spayed and given a few weeks for hormones to settle before bonding. Even once Frankie is neutered her hormones will still cause issues.
