What cage type is better for bunnies? a C&C type cage or an NIC condo type cage?

I actually thought they were both the same-C&C is cubes and coroplast, and NIC is neat idea cubes-which are the same cubes. I think they really amount to the same thing-but I could be wrong!

Yeah you’re right lol. When I posted this I was thinking of C&C cages as being more of a one level with a lot of space, and then a small upper level for a “kitchen” where the food and hay is, and a NIC condo as 3+ levels, but each level has less than the one level of the C&C.

I did C&C except for the floor I used a dog training tray and put newspaper and a sheet over it. I’m trying to make the boxes for the shelves and than I need to make a ramp.

I use the NIC cubes (I think, I’m from the UK so I got something that is pretty much the same) and I think they’re great! I didn’t buy flooring or shelving for mine either which reduced the cost a lot. I have mine set up on top of a fleece blanket (or just the floor) instead of a base – and for the second story I just got more NIC panels and zip tied them together, then zip tied them to the cage frame – and then zip tied cardboard (which I cut form a large cardboard box) onto the panels and covered it with fleece. I put one NIC panel horizontally under the second floor to help hold it up and stop it from sagging. I’ve had my cage like that for about a year now, and it has held up fine. It’s also pretty good, because it means I can change it/make it bigger whenever I want!
