        Hi,

Im just wondering if anyone else has heard of or used this litter for their bunnies. It is an organic, non clumping and biodegradeable product made from fir and spruce timber.

        Here is the link:

It’s hard to tell if it is pelleted or not. I would be wary of those woods in any unpelleted letter as they could be toxic. Can cause liver damage too if ingested I think. Not certain. The pellet woods are ok as heat treatment deals with the bad stuff. Looks like it’s marketed for rabbit use too, but doesn’t mean it’s safe! Oi !

Looks exactly like feline pine here

My guess, if it’s non-clumping, non clay wood based should be fine-just like wood stove pellets or yesterdays news

              Thanks guys,

I bought a 40litre bag of it in my local pet shop afew days ago so i just wanted to be sure. I did a little test with water before hand to make sure it wasnt a clumping litter and have been using it in Poppys litter box and 2 days later there is no smell… yippee! I was using carefresh and it was costing me a fortune as it is only sold in small bags so hopefully this litter will work out better for me and last longer!

OH yes Carefresh is uber expensive! I definitely think that stuff is just wood stove pellets (or very similar) so safe to use!
