Honestly, for bunnies, I would find one with a top door as well, it’s stressful trying to get them in/out of the carrier sometimes without it

Definitely one with a top door – it’s a must for me. Easier to put them in and get them out in an emergency.

Personally, I have a soft carrier because I figure it’s more comfortable and easier on the feet. Also I third the top door, way easier and less stressful than trying to push them into the carrier. (:

soft carriers with alot of bunnies wouldn’t last long too easy to shred

I always put a towel down in my carriers, don’t have to worry about feet then

I use one of those fleece cat or dog beds that you can wash. Those have worked a little better for me than towels because they don’t slide around. But always put something on the bottom of the plastic carriers to make them more comfortable, except newspaper (that just doesn’t work in my opinion).

These are the carriers I like:

These are the beds – they come in different sizes and I have a few that are the pefect size for the carriers:

kamdynandsunshinesmom, I actually have the exact one you linked, except one size up (the medium one that’s brown/blue)…I feel like the small would definitely be too small for a 6lb bunny.

Maybe it’s just my bunnies, but I’ve never had a problem getting them into the carrier…and I also really like that there’s visibility on all sides. I’ve never had a problem with it, and it’s very sturdy. Like somebody suggested, I do throw a towel or old shirt in there when I’m taking my bunnies somewhere partially so that it’s easier on their feet, and partially to soak up if they pee inside during transit.

thanks so much I don’t have a problem getting her in and if i am at the house i don’t have a problem getting her out. Now if were at the vets sometimes she is stubborn and doesn’t want to come out. I am on a really tight budget and looked at the double doors and can’t afford them. So thanks so much I will purchase it then. The carrier I have know is an xtra large one i bought it for when i bonded my 2 bunnies but unfortunately that never happened.
