Dustor the Shy-Guy sleeps/lounges in his all day.  Petie the Explorer hops in/hops out/hops in/hops out  of his.  Each bunny’s is lasting and lasting and lasting….and will for a long while no doubt.  These thick-walled all-grass cubes are safe to chew and eat toys/hidey-huts.   The entranceholes are huge – one guy’s 12 lb. cat went in it.   One entrance is a charming big arched doorway  and there is a large hole on the end.  I would think most larger bunnies, maybe even a flemmie could slither through . It comes flat, you open it up and fold upward the 2 end walls and it’s up and ready!   Flat roof and floor, too,  all made of thick rugged panels of dried grass.    They’re great with the Maze Haven and Mini-Haven complexes, even can be positioned door-to-door.  Binkybunny, please carry these!  Here’s the link:

I’d post pictures of Dustor and Petie as ‘tenants’, but I haven’t yet got a Photoshop software to scan pictures into my new laptop. Dustor sleeps inside by day, right next to the arched doorway in the evening, and on the roof by night!

I was contemplating getting one at some point for my buns, but haven’t yet as I didn’t know if they would fit. But if your balls of fluff will, I know my bitty babies will! lol

lol I guess 2 of your itty-bitties could go through at the same time and all three nestle inside!

I wasn’t able to size the image before, & it’s a bit angled,  but I got a pic of Dustor in his grass cube. To give an idea of size, the entrances are huge, and so is the cube. Dustor is a 9-mo.-old lionhead.   I’ll try to take some pics of Petie in his cube, tomorrow.

That looks so amazing! I bet my bunnies would love that! Do they destroy it much? It looks pretty sturdy to be sat on top of.

mrmac, sorry for the delay getting back, had typed a reply to your question only to lose it! My buns don’t destroy them much at all, and even less recently. But then, they have so much hay, pellets, greens etc to devour, guess that satisfies most of their chewing urges. Occasionally one or both of my buns I’ll hear picking at it. I assume you read the reviews on amazon? That would give a more rounded report of how much several Yobunnies are chewing it, I think., As, one owner said his bunnies devoured a lot of the floor. Nothing like that from my buns – so far! I’m waiting to hear what Lintini will have to say about the one she bought. I think Dustor feels secure in his, spends a lot of time in it or on it. Petie likes to zoom in and out of the holes. You’re right, the roof and the whole structure is pretty sturdy. For $10+, I think it’s a worthy investment. I appreciate all your enthusiasm and endorsement for it. Thanks!

I have that one. I bought it off Drs foster and smith. The pictures were a lot better than the ones on amazon. The ones on amazon look like it wouldn’t fit my bunny!!

Chacha loves her hidey hut ! she outgrew a hut i gave her a long time ago. She tried getting into the smaller one and got stuck lol

mrmac, the hidey hut is made of thick (not sure if this is the right word) grass mat. it seems it would last a lot longer than grass mats lol.

I just got the one off Amazon today! ITS HUGE!!! It’s getting tested out right now and they love it! It is sturdy to sit on too. My bunnies have a lot of willow chews, I have the tent and a huge cat bed in a willow basket so I don’t know how into destroying this house they will be since they have so much to “chew-se” from, haha! I’ll keep you updated on the bunstruction of it – so far so good!

I just got one of these for Bobby and so far, I have not seen him use it. I’ve recently allowed him free roam of the house so I think he’s just a little confused.

Chacha doesn’t go inside of it either when I let her out to play. She likes to sleep in it during the day. I’ve seen her jump onto it.

Blu loves everything about it….Sleeps in it all day…stands on top when he wants to be seen…and chews on the sides when he feels like working hard. I hope he doesn’t chew much more or he won’t be stable enough standing on top!

We woke up to a hell of a commotion, we could see the tunnel moving awkwardly, but couldn’t find her. So scary, thought she had broken her back but then we realised she was right inside, we cut her out and now she’s fine. Beware double lined toys. She gave us such a scare!!!

Dustor is leaving the seams of his alone and it’s still up and he still sleeps in it (and on the roof) religiously, however. They wouldn’t be expensive to replace, so far.

I’m glad at least Bobby takes to the hut. It’s a challenge finding huts with holes made big enough for the larger rabbits to enter. You would almost have to cut them yourself to make them bigger.
