Can’t believe I haven’t shared this with you!!!

I just realized I hadn’t shared this-not rabbit news but pretty funny.

Start with some background. Dave is a pretty manly man; He’s 6’3, an electrician and welder and spends his time in shops and garages, inventing and building things. But he appreciates girly girls. He’s love me to do my nails all the time-but working with animals so much it’s just not possible or hygenic; He’d like my hair done all the time, makeup, high heels etc. Really I have sweaty hair with poop in it from various animals more often then salon products  Poooor Dave

So I was getting ready the other day and my hair was really really flat; I hadn’t had a cut in a while (busy with the shelters-lol poor dave) and I was trying to backcomb it to get some volume. I watched some how to youtube movies. I tried my best but ended up in tears (Ok, I cry easy and when my hair was all tangled up and looking terrible well…)

So Dave swooped in to my rescue, watched the youtube vids and learned to do my hair.  He now sytles it from wet__ dries it, straitens it and ‘poofs’ it for me!!  LMAO It’s sweet cuz I’m busy and the last thing I want to do when I get home is my hair-and it works for him too, being a guy who likes girly girls-he can do my hair now for me!!  LOL

hahah!! well, now THAT is the way to for a guy to do it! If a guy wants his girl to be girly girl then he’d better do it himself! Maybe you can get him to paint your nails too – will save $$ on a manicurist.

Now if he can just do all that why you’re still asleep……..! Honestly, if you did all you do, plus the maintenance to be a Girly Girl, Dave would never see you! Anyway, he’s sorted for his next birthday present – A Barbie Doll !

LOL Watching movies!! No work for two weeks-not back to work until Jan 5 _what are you doing up so late? Love the holidays (well now that our shelter director is back and I don’t have to wheel barrow food to 30 horses-twenty rabbits, ten goats, three pigs and a million chickens in forty below weather!!)

Winter break for me too, but I’m usually not up so late. I was just working on putting something together with my friend and then I stayed up past my limit and now I can’t relax!

How the heck did you keep track of all those animals?!

^^ LOL it’s a bit easier because our director is AWESOME at naming animals! Our turkeys? Heff, Holy Kendra and Bridgette! Bunnehs? Norman (bates) and (al) Pacino… her mustang? Ford LOL She’s great at naming them

Wow  Hey Fouad can you do my hair ?   OH that is so cool.   I had a gay guy roommate once.  HE loved to do my hair it was fun.

The nails I can’t do it chips off within hours of drying. Plus it stinks too. And long nails forget it.  When I was pregnant with Brandon they grew like crazy.  I would flick my hair back and jab right in the eye with the thumbnail.  After a couple times of that I keep them short now.

hard to have long nails with a horse.  A lady would keep hers long and painted. I noticed she didnt’ ride her horse much so I suppose that is how she kept them long.   I could never put the saddle pull the girth and hold the reins as I rode without tearing a nail.  So forget it. 

Then you see all these ladies with beautiful nails.  GRRRRR.     enjoy your new hairdresser .   You can confide in him and gossip while he does you up just like in the beauty shop heheee.   You lucky girly girl you.

I have my husband help me sometimes w/ the back of my hair and you would think I was asking him to do surgery! SO cute…

My husband is one of those that says “Looks Great!” when I know I look like a homeless woman. Or he’ll say it looks great when he hadn’t even looked – then I’ll say…”so now you have eyes on the side of your head too?”

Or he’ll want me to go somewhere with him and catch me in a really sloppy moment, and I’ll say, “Give me a minute” and he’ll ask why…and I’ll say…”Are you blind?” and then he’ll concentrate really hard on me – you’d think the completely unbrushed untamed mop on the top of my head, old sweats and barefeet might offer a clue – but usually he’ll say – “Oh, right, get some shoes on”, but the rest seems to go unnoticed. But since he calls me “cutie” all the time, i can deal with him not noticing a great haircut or bad haircut.

Oh K&K, what a keeper you found! ^_^ I am deeply jealous.

I can’t complain though. Hubby is not one who worries much about appearance concerning me. (Good thing too, after what I’ve been through!) Natch, he doesn’t want me going out in public in too tight pants or anything like that, but he’s not worried much about my hair. It used to be down below my butt before chemo, now it’s actually gone to mid back but is VERY thin. I am almost ready to carve it all off again though…being bald wasn’t so bad now I realize! xD Just run a washcloth over it and go!

LOL I don’t know if it’s that great!? We’re going out to grocery shop and he’s like ‘are you wearing that?” LOL Uh yes sweats are fine for going to walmart LOL
