is there any way to find out the age of a rabbit? I have no clue how old Basil is I dont know if he is under a year or over 5 years! is there anyway to guestimate his age? hes not crazy hyperactive phsyco bun but he isnt a lounger either I think he is over at least a year because he dosent have the teenager type attitude and try to get into things is this a good guess?

You are certainly not a bother!

Vets can usually determine age when a bunny is very young. As adults, it is more difficult. With adults a vet should be able to tell you if the bunny is over one year, or a “senior” (over 6 years). Beyond that, it’s really just a guess.

                ditto that!

PuddleJumper, would you be able to trace his history? i.e. Info that lady who rescue him from being put to sleep, plus that shelter and how they came to have him. They might still have some records. These may even indicate what info his original owners gave if he was surrendered.
