            In hot weather, I’ve given Thor an ice-cube to play with She really seems to like playing with it and will bat it around and lick it for a while. She doesn’t really eat the ice, just lick the melting water.

            Some buns don’t like ice, and of course make sure that whatever frozen water is clean and safe for buns. I’ve even seen some cute photos of bunnies playing in snow their owners brought inside!

              To cool them off, it’s probably more agreeable with them if you just float ice in the water bowl, and if they like it, they’ll lick it while it’s floating on the water. As Thor says, it’s good to make sure the frozen water is clean (sometimes ice from a fridge can be dirty because the container it falls on is dirty, etc.).

                On a side-note: If you want cool rabbits down, better to put the ice in a towel. Direct fur/skin contact with ice can make them really sick.
