  hey just thinking…. a freind of mine who breeds rabbits is giving up due to the credit crunch and her husband lost his job she has some mini lop rabbits ready in a few weeks and has offered me one i just got a baby mini lop at the start of the week and was wondering if i should get him a freind i have five rabbits already they have become my hobby nd i just love it i definatly have the time for another rabbit and money wise i can manage i and currently getting pet insurance for my other rabbits so vet bill will be affordable im only working part time at the moment and the bf is leaving me for the millatary soon so it will be just me (yay more time for my bunnys). im definalty considering it seeing all my rabbits have a freind except the lop i got at the start of the week erg… why cant i just controll my urges !!!!i what do you guys all think should i … or have i just go too many already!!!
  
  p.s now all im wondering is … will i really listen to what everyone says or will bunny cuteness win over!!

  I think you’ve answered your own question – but it’s not really what you want to hear. You want another bunny, but you have a brand new one who needs your care and attention and isn’t old enough to start bonding with another one anyway. If you wait until your latest bunny is spayed/neutered, you can take it on a bunny date. But with all those cute bunnies already in your house, and a Brand New ONE just this week, I’d say stick with the current gang and enjoy them.
  
  All bunnies are cute, so you will fight the urge like a former cigarette smoker in a room full of politicians. The temptation is everywhere. Move away from the tempting bunny situation, breathe gobs of fresh air, and snuggle your new little one.

  I would aso keep with what you have and try to bond the new baby (when he’s old enough/neutered) in with one of your existing pairs. That would be easier for you to have two groups of buns rather than 3 separate pairs.

  saposs i just like them all to have their wee friends lol one of my rabbits wont bond to any other rabbit other than my smudge she attacks them all and shes fixed just think shes over protective of her area lol

  Sounds like she likes smudge. Doesn’t need anyone else. I think she’s possessive of Smudge!
