Can I use non-rabbit safe plywood for base of cage? It would be covered with
vinyl. I am making my bunny a new cage from scratch and have to customize the
flooring and everything. When I go to buy plywood for the base of her cage, I
looked into kiln-dried pine, completely rabbit safe. But it was very
expensive so I was wondering if I could use OSB or something? It would
be covered with sheet vinyl and bordered with furring strips. When I get enough
money to make it(or find a good enough deal) I will show pics! Thank you bunny
        lovers!

I think if it’s completely covered it should be fine-if there is any chance of chewing I’d go for the pine!

I suppose that would be fine if it is completely covered, however if it was me I would ere on the side of caution and save up for a bit longer just to give myself peace of mind.
Looking forward to piccies whatever you decide to do.
