Hi there good people ,
I haven’t been around here and I am sorry for that .
It seems like I only drop by to ask a question and then leave , but this not who I really am …
I was wondering about the diet of my cutie rabbit , now going strong and healthy for 4 years …
My concern is because of calsium and veggie that contain a lot of calsium in general.
I heard that too much calsium is bad for rabbits and might form stones inside them.
I know that for infant rabbits is good to feed them alfafa because that contains a lot of calsium and that’s exactly what I did in the
beginning. Of course I stopped feeding him alfafa after a year of so , and now only feed him Tomothy Premium Hay and Genesis Pellet
(Timothy).
Also I feed him the following vegetables , Cabbage , Chinese Cabbage , carrot (not that much rationed) , brocolli , the red cabbage type.
Vegetables in my location are expensive and sometimes they are seasonal vegetables but I do insist on getting them for my Bun.
I was wondering if any of the above – mentioned veggies contain too much calsium or other minrals that should be rationed or avoided all
together. Also I would like to know if there are any veggies and or fruits that should NOT be given at all or be rationed (I know about the Ice
berg, which i never give.
in short , I don’t want stone inside my rabbit ^^ buhaha
Thank you for now ,
