Chaos has pretty bad arthritis (he’s on meds to manage his pain) and we’ve had to remove all boxes that he can jump off because his cage is hard wood and it was causing more pain landing on the wood. We’ve tried most things in his cage to provide comfort (hemp mats, carpet, blankets, dog beds, straw) but he either chews all the fabric things I’ve put in or shows no interest in using them and shifting hem so he can lie on the wooden floor. Was looking at foam flooring to put in but was concerned he’d chew it aswell. Is there anything else I can try?

Have you tried those memory foam bath mats? I know buns can be very destructive. My big bun has foam floor mats and then I put fleece over it and tighten it so she doesn’t dig and it seems to help her!
