So im wanting to build a new cage that would fit better into my room and be a little bigger than we have now. I would like it to be 4 feet long by about 18 inches wide, and about 2 feet high. That way it will fit nicely against my wall and not look awkward.

But i dont know if you need to use certain woods? or if anyone knows any good plan websites?

I would like to use wood with some sort of linolium floor so its easy to clean.

But then i want a top on it that almost looks like a coffee table so i can utilize it at the same time!

Any ideas will be appreciated! Thanks all!

http://ontariorabbits.org/care/housing I just read this article and thought it was very informational. For my rabbits I use NIC Cube cages that I built. I am in the process now of adding to my bunns cage to make it bigger for her. if you look under info on the bb page you can see some great habbits!

Rabbit.org recommends a living space of a minimum of 4ftX4ft for small-medium rabbits, and larger for larger breeds. I also wouldn’t plan on utilizing and large portion of her cage for anything besides hers, it will probably set her on edge for you to use it as a table or the like.
