Umm… might be a dumb question but is cabbage not a recommended rabbit food? Mine have always eaten loads of cabbage and are fine
(although, apart from peppers they do have cast iron stomachs) but I have never seen any of you guys mention it.

Sometimes it can cause bunnies gas, like broccoli (cabbage and broccoli are in the same family). If they are fine with it, you can feed it to them. Although I personally would limit their intake of it, like don’t give it to them as a main staple.

I’ve gotten paranoid reading some horror stories about stomach upset on this site, but my bun seems to eat all veggies with no problem whatsoever, I usually give him 3 or 4 types of veggies and greens twice daily. If I have cabbage in the house I only give it to him every other day or so. But lately I’ve had a ton of broccoli and give him a bit every day, either stems or greens if nothing else. I think some bunnies, like some people, are just really sensitive to some foods. Mine gobbles everything with no effect whatsoever.

It is a safe food, but like the others said, it’s usually fed in limited amounts if your buns can handle it. From teh sounds of it, it doesn’t adversely affect your buns, so that’s good.
