Well awhile back their was a post somewhere about what a pain it is to get them back into their cages after playtime. Well i liked Beka’s (i think) approach of shaking the papaya tablet container and giving some kind of command to get them to go back on their own, rewarding with a tablet. So i tried it and it worked! He picked it up in three days! I just started three days ago and he just did it perfectly! I didnt even have to tell him twice. I was so excited that i said forget the dishes, you deserve some more play time and Hammer is happily out for another hour os so lol. Yay! Do i have one smart bun or what

Hammer is proving to be a pretty clever bun.
Your going to clicker train him aren’t you? I think I read that in another post. You should…and post a film Give me motivation to start training Layla!

No, no plans for clicker training. At least not any time soon. Id be happy if i could just “train” Hammer to leave carpet alone lol

that’s great! that’s funny b/c earlier today we were leaving for the store so i was getting them in the pen. Mead hops right in, Max flat out refused… i ended up having to lift the maze and shoo him out. so im glad he’s doing it, but like anything with buns, they choose when they want to listen. ;o)

Yeah tell me about it.  Cotton has been doing real good.  I leave him 2 treats on top of his shelf and he just hops right in knowing he is going to get something.  Now Ruby is still sleeping in her own cage.  She usually follows Cotton so I hope it wont’ be too hard when the time comes for them to sleep together. 

 Cotton has thrown me over for Ruby boohooo.   Na he still likes his pets.
