So… my bottle’s leaking from the nozzle and I need to get another one. Problem is, I’m having really bad luck with bottles. Before this one I bought a FOP bottle but it was defective and the ball would get stuck in the nozzle, then another just leaked (can’t remember the brand).

The only one that’s never broken is one leftover from when I had hamster, but the bottle piece is obviously too small and I keep it there just for backup.

Do you have any recommended brands? Is there a way to check if a bottle’s actually good? I always test the ball and the fitting of the bottle, but I had disastrous results so far

(I also got a good scare cause the whole 250ml bottle would be gone in two days and thought that K had been drinking all that… =.= )

I’ve struggled to find a good bottle too, and I’m starting to think one doesn’t exist! Luna has the Kaytee chew-proof glass one right now – it lasted over a year until I had to replace it because of the ball getting stuck, and then it started leaking but then stopped. I might try one of the Lixit bottles next. I also keep a bowl of water around in case the bottle malfunctions, and because Luna uses both her bottle and bowl so I like to give her the option .

I think I saw one of those glass bottles on zooplus, I was very tempted cause glass can also be sterilized easily… Sadly K can’t have a water bowl during molting periods, so he’s stuck to the bottle for now!

I hope I can find a nice one with a large nozzle, this crappy one I have has a long thin one that I don’t like lol

I’ve never owned a rabbit before, but for all my previous fur babies (including drugs, a chinchilla and other smallies), I loved glass bottles. There’s a brand (I think it’s called Natural world or something along those lines), that worked really well. Maybe try that? The glass can’t be chewed so it’s less likely to break or burst and can be washed easily.
