My female rabbit has gotten into a habit of making burrows with her blanket, taking our blankets off the bed to burrow in, and trying to burrow in her bedding. I just found her half covered in bedding, she dug her little head under.
So my question is, what are some ways that I can help her Burrow? I have extra tote boxes I can use but I’m just not sure what to put in for her to burrow with and how to set it up for her? I did try to give her a shallow box with shredded paper about a month ago, but she just ate the paper, stopped using her litter box and used the dig box for her bathroom.

Once I put soil in a big box as a diggy box. But it made a big mess and Boo didn’t even like it so I took it away. If you want to continue with the shredded paper then I recommend to get quite a deep box as the same thing happened to me when I had a shallow box.

Did you make a door/hole for your rabbit to get in, or just left it for them to hop in?
I will try that, I just hope she uses it.

Is she spayed? While some bunnies like to burrow naturally, some only start this habit because of hormones and it will go away after they are spayed.
