We have three dutch bunnies and our youngest is 2.  I’m 9 months pregnant and in the last few months Tootie has been marking in two spots.  One in the dining room and one under our bed.  She is ruining the wood in these areas and I don’t know what to do to stop it!

It isn’t a matter of watching her because they are free in the bunny proofed rooms all of the time. Any advice or ideas to get her to stop would be so helpful.  I tried a pee pad for little dogs but she is just tearing it to shreds and then moving it away.

I’ll take any advice that you can give me.

        Thanks!

        Jessica

If she’s forgotten her litter box training, you might want to limit her roaming area, so she relearns where to go potty. I keep my Monkey bunny in her pen most of the time, being as she’s still un-altered, and fairly young still. When she gets older and more sure of her potty area, she’ll be allowed to go out more :p

They are. That is why I’m wondering if my pregnancy hormones are just driving everyone crazy!

Well, it may be a good idea to limit her space. Maybe spruce it up with fun levels in an area that’s bigger than her cage but not totally free roam in several rooms. Maybe just one. If you get her adjusted to it now, it will be easier to limit her movements after the baby comes. You may want to at times.

Pregnancy hormones drive you crazy. Everyone else is supposed to wait on you with cold drinks and foot massages. Bunnies are just selfish.

                  LOL Too true!!!

I’d limit the area she has, baby gates or NIC cubes work. The only other option is to put litter boxes where she is going and then in time take them away or move them towards the established litter box.
