Aww! Thats sweet of you! I’ve been soo busy lately(not too busy to spend time with the babies, don’t worry) but I haven’t had time to visit the site as much as I’d like to!

Kit has been doing well. For a little guy, he really is doing great with the litter box when inside his cage, he hasn’t peed outside the box in atleast 3 cage changes. I bought a cage with a wire grate bottom and put a little throw rug in there– he’s so funny, he will dig at the thing for hours! The cage I bought is easy to clean though because most of his poopies fall through, and he smells so much better because of it!

Besides litter training, his personality has really developed. He used to shy away from the cage door, and now he runs for it the second I open it. I have him in the kitchen because he tends to kick the litter everywhere, and he runs out of his cage like a bat out of hell and slides on the kitchen floor. You would think this would scare him but he does it every single time I let him out! It’s so funny. He really is a character– he folles me around like a little baby duck.

My only wish is that he would keep the peeing on the carpet to a minimum. He pees atleast twice every time he’s out. I don’t know if its a baby thing, or what, because he doesn’t ever pee in the same spot twice, so I don’t think its a territorial thing.

Ugh I could go on and on. I just love him =]

This is great to hear! They are amazing how different their personalities are.

Have you tried putting a litter box in the runtime area? If he’s catching on with the box inside the cage, you might be lucky and he could take to using it outside also. Sound like it’s just because he’s young thou – prob get’s bit overwhelmed or excited outside of cage.

            Thanks for the update!

I find I can’t use those little fake lamb’s wool cuddly cups for Pip or Mimzy because they tend to pee them territorially. But Fiver has yet to do this.

I think some bunnies just love the feel of something soft under their bum, and this initiates the marking instinct.
Thanks for the update! ^_^ Give noserubs to both your buns for us!

yeah, there is no chance of me putting a towel down in the little buggars cage yet. I did when I first got him and it was saturated in less than a day.

He is so funny. Today I was getting ready for work and went in the kitchen(where his cage is) to start my coffee pot. It is like the second he hears that thing go on he runs in his litter pepsi cardboard container with his head sticking out like “stop that racket!!!” if I walk over to his cage, he thumps his foot.

Before I left, (coffee was done) I let him out for a bit. No thumping.

No stupid human noises = no thumping. Just licking
