I recently bought 3 rabbits, a male and two females. They are almost 2 months old. I only recently found out their genders and separated them 2 days ago. The boy, now alone, has been eating a bit and defecating as usual, but his water is untouched. Should I be worried about him? Is there anything I can do to encourage normal behavior?

Is he peeing normal? You could try putting a little bit of apple juice in his water to see if that would entice him. Or syringe feed him some water.

Do you have a bottle or bowl? Try offering both and see if he has a preference?

Have you been feeding them vegetables? In that case it may be he’s taking his water from there. Otherwise, as sarahthegemini said, put only 1-2 drops of juice (apple, pineapple,…) in his water and that usually does the trick. Don’t use this trick often cause too much sugar might be of harm
