I’ve had my bunny (Miyazaki) since May 2018. She refuses to eat pellets
She will fling them across the room in pure disgust! She eats hay and greens as well as a piece of banana or apple as a treat but she will not touch pellets of any brand/kind. Ack!

Is she young (less than 6 months old) or older? If she’s younger, it is important for her to get nutrients for growth, so finding a pellet she likes is desirable to ensure she grows healthily. If she’s younger, have you tried alfalfa and timothy based pellets?

I have heard of owners who, for their rabbits’ health reasons, do not give pellets. In these cases, I recall it being very important to have a diverse veggie selection during veggie feedings, to ensure the rabbit has enough nutrients. I am uneducated on this however, so I do not feel comfortable advising one way or another. Have you spoken to a rabbit-vet for insight on diet?

Maybe have her teeth checked out at the vet, they may be preventing her from eating hard crunchy things (read: pellets).

I agree with speaking to a rabbit savvy vet. The vet will be able to make sure your rabbit is getting what she needs and that her teeth aren’t overgrown.

Maybe try getting some freeze-dried banana and crumbling a tiny bit very finely over the pellets? That may entice her.

Also, try to get the freshest pellets you can possibly get. Check the dates on the packages at the store & pick the one that will stay fresh the longest. A fresher pellet may make your bun more enticed
