  I’m finally back from vacation! Some of you knew how worried I was about leaving Edson. The sitter turned out to be the most incredible sitter ever! I walked in with all my stuff and she had this great area set up in her huge living room just for him. Her house was immaculate and she is the most caring person I have ever met. She is actually the founder of an animal rescue here so Edson could not have been in better hands. We set up everything in the xpen and he immediately went to town eating hay without a blink. Then he flopped! He was totally comfortable! I could not believe it as I spent literally weeks worrying about this. I NEVER expected this to be this easy. He was a perfect angel for them and quickly went back to his normal routine so easily! I guess I AM totally replaceable!

  That’s great knowltons! I just came back from vacation myself and my girls immediately ran over to me and jumped all over me giving bunny kisses! I think they actually missed me! I think their routine got messed up and they didnt know what was going on. Where is this sitter located? If she’s not too far from me, I would like to hire her for my next vacation!

  Welcome back! Glad to hear Edson had a good time and all is well. And now you can take more trips without having to worry again.

  She is located in Terra Linda next to San Rafael. Only $15/day to boot! I have been giving Edson filtered water but did not dare insist on that and lo and behold she has the fancy filtered water hooked up into her faucet! And she only gives them organic greens. She’s really too good to be true.

  I recently got back from a trip too, and I was lucky enough to have Gravehearted as one of my sitters! The buns did fine, the car ride to Santa Cruz and back was harder on them than staying at someone elses place I think.

  Sorry I didn’t get to this earlier knowltons…I just had my mum-in-law here for a week and I’ve been totally away from my computer.

  And no, you aren’t replaceable. You know better. *wags finger* BTW, I just had to have my hubby take care of Mim & Pip for one evening and morning while my daughter and I stayed with my MIL in her hotel in town. (We had to get up early to catch a train and this was the only way my daughter would manage it.) You think I wasn’t a TOTAL maniac about just how the bunnies were to be cared for while I was gone for twenty four hours?? Yikes, I’m lucky my hubby is still speaking to me! 0_o;
