Alright so I just started on my way home from Midwest bunfest (I loved it by the way) but I got loads of great ideas for things I thought I could diy instead of buy. For the longest time I’ve had wiffel balls that I had no idea to do with since David only seemed to like them when something was sticking out to grab it with. While I was there I saw this neat idea of intertwining a rope through the holes so there’s places to grab onto them. Now the rope they used was a thick Timothy hay twine type of thing and I figured I could substitute that with some kind of rope…. Any ideas on one that will be safe for them to nibble and such?

Anything thats not food that is ingested is dangerous. What I reccomend is a hay mat, or rool from the BB store. The BB store has lots of great and cheap things your bunny will love

Hemp and sisal are bunny safe. Untreated of course.

As Ben says, a bunny shouldn’t eat non-food, but having a tiny nibble is ok with bunny safe materials. Only you know what type of bun your bun is.

Thank you! Of course I have no intention on letting him eat the rope he just really loves anything he can grab onto and toss so when I saw them I thought I HAD to make one for him
