Hi! I’ve recently joined the forum mostly to ask this question as I after using google I couldn’t find a thing. I have a male bunny, 9 months old, he hasn’t been neutered yet. He loves cage free roaming around the house and litter box trained. However whenever my friends or boyfriend come over he start pooping all over the floor. It’s never the case when it’s just me and him. I don’t know if he’s just jealous or if there’s anything I can do?

He’s jealous and or letting your guests know that he doesn’t approve of them in “his” territory. It’s territorial marking. He’s probably not real fond of your boyfriend either?

It’s a common occurrence for Wick. If the environment changes in any way, like laying out pieces to make furniture, having people over, rearranging the room, etc, he will remark everything. In my opinion it’s not jealousy, but instinct to mark a now “unfamiliar” territory.

Yeah I think it’s the worst with my bf than others, he even went out of his way to poop in my bfs shoes. Is there anything I could do to help change this behaviour?
