I have a 9 year old mini rex rabbit. I’ve noticed lately that he has poop stuck on his butt frequently. If I clean it off more gets on. It also seems wetter than his typical poop. Nothing else has changed and he has a great diet

Poopy butt is usually a dietary issue. What is his diet like?

I agree poopy butt is usually diet related, but his age makes me wonder about potential arthritis. If it’s his normal poop, maybe he just is in a lot of pain and can no longer eat his cecals.

His diet hasn’t changed. Lots of fresh greens that change such as cilantro, lettuce, parsley, etc. Unlimited hay and about 1tbls pellets twice a day.
