My bunny was running around and accidentally ran into the cage head first. I noticed about an hour later that her nose bled a bit. Since then I’ve been watching and she grinds her teeth every now and then. I gave her a drop of metacam to try ease the pain.

        What should I do?

Sorry it’s been a while since you posted this, how is she doing now?

Is it still actively bleeding? Does it seem like she is having trouble breathing or anything like that? Is she still eating/drinking?

If she is still showing symptoms of pain I would have her checked by the vet. I think it’s unlikely she injured herself very seriously this way, but it’s possible she injured a tooth or something like that.

Yes, injuries to the front teeth and gums are the most common with this type of accident. Unless your bunny cut her nose or something, of course. How is she doing now?

She’s doing a lot better, back to normal I think 🙂

                What a relief
