        Hi Everyone,

I have a question about bunny noises. My bunny has recently got over what my vet thought was the snuffles. Anti biotics made little difference but since coming off them seems to have cleared up by itself. He went in for some swabs at the vet under sedation last week but the vet could not find any discharge to swab – very strange. Anyway good news really but this leads me on to my question. Sometimes when he is runnning around playing or eating more commonly he makes these snorting sounds as if he is very congested. If you distract him he sniffs and breathes with no sounds like this as if he can turn it on and off. Do you think this is a sound bunnies make or just a symptom of the snuffles? it’s not like the grunting or grinding teeth noises which he also makes when he wants attention or is content, Any ideas?

        Ben

Yes some bunnies make snorty honky noises when happy as they play, when they are happy to see you,  and as HB does when I hold him.   Maybe thats what it is.
