Hiya, my new 8 week old bunny keeps chewing on my fingers, especially my nails, it doesn’t really hurt but i’m worried that it will when she gets older. I doubt it’s any form of anger as she’s been binkying non stop! Does anyone know why this could be and how to stop it? Also, should i give her a constant food supply?

It sounds like grooming. I always inch my pinky toe away from Wick because he tends to nibble it. Consider rabbit grooming– they will nibble to snag on hard dirt particles that are stuck on their fur. Similarly, they tend to do this with human nails because it’s a hard surface on your otherwise smooth soon. Additionally, it could be your rabbit saying get your fingers away from my face.

All rabbits should have unlimited hay at all times. She should also have unlimited alfalfa pellets until she is a few months old.

Her nibbling is likely her tasting you to see if you are food

Thank you! She has unlimited hay (which she seems to be eating constantly) what should I do about pellets?
