Bunny lives in a 4’x7′ pen in our workshop.  The pen has a 1/4″ rubber mat on the floor and we put some fleece on top of the rubber to keep it a bit warmer.  Inside the pen is his wooden hutch with two levels, both have fleece in them.  We’re in TX and normally it’s not this cold but tonight will be the 3rd night below freezing. The outside temp got down to 26F.  The workshop is insulated but there’s no heat and I don’t have a thermometer in there to know for certain, but am sure it was close to freezing.  Today it looks like bunny might have the snuffles as there is discharge from one nostril and he’s been sneezing.  The rabbit vet isn’t in town until tomorrow.  Online advice says to keep bunny warm if they have snuffles but also says that too big of a temperature change can be dangerous.  Our house is kept about 72F.  Should I bring him inside?  Or is he better off in his hutch?  Thanks for any advice.  We are relatively new bunny owners, he was a rescue show rabbit that we found in our garden in September (let loose by a neighbor).

Yes bring him inside if you can.

Also take him to the vet as soon as you can, the vet will probably put him on 1 week of baytril and he should be great. Definetly sounds like snuffles!

Also don’t breed him, he will pass it to his babies.

Thank you! There’s one vet that knows rabbits and she will be in town tomorrow.
