So my little guy runs around, does binkies, jumps in the air, jumps over his little tunnel, but he does NOT jump on top of things like our couch, or his igloo hidey-house  etc.  Should I be grateful that he is not on the couch or is this something I need to encourage? I even put a little ramp next to our ottoman in case he needed assistance and he was like “no, thank you”.  I was kinda hoping he would lay next to us on the couch  but maybe it’s just not his thing?  The only item he used to jump on was the cardboard tunnel I bought off the Binkybunny store – but it would always collapse under his weight.

I’m not overly concerned per sey, but just curious if anyone else’s bunny does not do this too?

My bunnies don’t really jump on things other than their log tunnels. And their hay box. It always takes me by surprise when they launch themselves into the hay box though. They’re just not jumpers!

As someone with 1.5 jumpers (Bombur tries so hard but he’s not built for it, hence why he gets a .5), be grateful that you don’t have a jumper. Yes, it can be adorable and fun to watch them explore and be excited that they can launch 5 feet in the air, but it’s not fun when you hear a crash and know they’ve fallen from whatever height, and it’s not fun when they get into things they aren’t supposed to.
If you want to spend time with him while watching TV or something like that, you can invest in those husband/book reading pillows. It’ll let you sit comfortably on the ground while spending time with little man.

True, true – good points.  We are on the floor all the time with him so I’ll take a look a those pillows. Thanks.

I have that issue too- I think it’s just buns doing what buns wanna do. I wish my Mr Buns would come hang out with us downstairs on the couch but he has the same attitudes- no thank you! My lop Cinni was the same- she felt hardwood floors were like lava and both buns just felt more happy and comfortable in their bunny kingdom(an entire spare bedroom dedicated to everything entertaining to bunnies) really I can’t blame him for not wanting to leave his “home” but still- I’m kind of insulted that I give the guy complete free range and he’s just like no thanks! LOL I do think he sneaks out when nobody’s looking sometimes but GOD FORBID we close the baby gate (so he can see out of the room ( I don’t like to close the door on them)

We had a ramp for our dog to get on the couch. She was 17 years old and couldn’t get up on her own. Well, Leopold had absolutely no issues with zipping up that ramp to get on the couch. He would get in my lap, sniff around, and then go back the way he came. LOL He’s just not a cuddler, so don’t feel bad. I don’t think Wooly ever felt compelled to use the ramp to go up, but he sure did use it to make his escape when I’d be trying to groom him in my lap.

Now that our dog is gone, the ramp is no longer there. I really don’t think they have any interest though. If they did, I’m sure they would try to jump up. Leopold isn’t much of a jumper and neither is Wooly. They have a baby gate in the doorway to their room and never in their 8 years have they tried to jump over it. I’m glad they aren’t jumpers though. Keeps them out of trouble.

We have a baby gate too and he doesn’t even attempt to jump over it as well – which I’m thankful for!
