Bunny hilarity

I just had the greatest evening with the bun’s and I had to share a couple stories with you all!

First, had a great cuddle with kahlua last night and she let me hand feed her!!! This is something she’s never done (Kokanee always did)…If you give her anything, she just ignored it and turned her face away…Well last night we had great cuddles and grooming and she ate two baby carrots and a couple raisins and some greens from mommy’s hand!!

Here is my hilarious story as advertised…hehe…I had Kokanee out after kahlua went to bed, and my boyfriend was in the shower-so it was just the two of us. We play chase each other around and when it was my turn to chase her (I dont’ know why I dd, but) I shuffled my feet while I chased her…and she was just like "WHat the !??!?!?" and her belly hit the floor and she’s scooting away way faster then she does during play chase, on her tummy! I guess I really freaked her out-I just busted out laughing and rolling around. She realized she was the butt of a joke then and came up to me for cuddles and kisses…Too funny!!!

And then this morning, I peeked in on them before I left and Kahlua is flat on her back on the doggy bed I bought them, all four feet strait up in the air!!! I ran as quiet and fast as I could for a camera but only got her really stretched out, as she had moved more on her side when I got back  i guess I need to keep the camera handy at all times!! She was so cute!!

my first bun – who i named binky BTW without even realizing what a binky was… i laughed so hard when i first found this website =) well he was a silly guy.  i had a room mate at the time and each morning i’d wake up to find binky’s toys sitting on top of his pen with him still inside.  when i asked my room mate about it he told me that every morning while he was trying to enjoy his coffee & read the paper binky would pick up a toy & drag it back & forth along his pen bars making a ruckus.  hey you… let me out!  not wanting to be responsible for letting binky out, he’d take the toys away from him to have a peaceful breakfast.  i can just picture it… like a convict clanking his cell bars with a tin cup.  lol.

It’s so funny when bunnies get startled by the silliest things. Sometimes Vicky will become VERY alert at something (i have no idea what) and climb to the highest point in the house and begin scanning the area with her radar ears and big bunny eyes. I always take the opportunity to pet and kiss her because she’s so distracted with her reconnaissance!

I’m going to keep working on that photo! She’s dragged the pet bed *under”* the cat ‘furniture’ playhouse they have, and totally flops there, so hopfully by monday I will have a great pic!!
