Hi, i was wondering if anyone could give me some advice.
So one of my bunnies is recovering from a spay which was two weeks ago this Thursday. The thing is, she’s starting to get extremely bored of her cage and is bar chewing which I’m sure is terrible for her teeth. I feel awful that she’s having to stay in that cage so I was wondering when I should allow her to be Free-roam round my bedroom? She’s having a little hop about now out of the cage but I’d love for her to be completely free-roam all the time.

        Thanks

I’m not sure about a spay because I have boys, but I let mine go back to their normal space after a week. As long as she seems to be recovering normally and her spay sight doesn’t look infected, I’d say expanding her space would be a good idea.

At two weeks, she can be allowed a bit more freedom. Try to avoid her jumping onto anything, and make sure theres nothing around that her wound can get irritated by or snagged on.

Ok, thanks for the help. She definitely seems back to her usual self and has had a vet check-up last Saturday.
