Meadow usually only flops on the carpeting against the wall or couch, or in her cage, either on the floor or on the "terrace" (roof) of her wood house.  just yesterday i noticed she started flopping right on the couch.  she’s taken official ownership of it.  she’ll flop, and then lick the spot thoroughly (to the point that it’s very wet.)  she only does this in my husband’s "spot" on the couch.  could this be a sign of affection since he’s at work and not here, but she recognizes the smell?  she’s doing it right now and she’s licked a spot the size of an orange… i can see it clearly b/c it’s THAT WET.  she doesn’t mark with pee or poo, just licks.

also… earlier today she flopped on the couch, but it was one of those awesome flops where she actually throws herself 6 or 8 inches in the air from sitting and then lands "splat" on her side.  that has to be the most contented of all flops.

I love the “throw flops”. They are so cute!

I can tell she is one happy and contented bun! Love all the flops but the throw flops are definitely the most impressive.
