Today, my bunny stood up for a treat and tipped over (he fell directly backwards, not on his side)
He’s still very active, has been eating and drinking, but now seems to enjoy snuggling shoes.
Should I take him to the vet?

I’m still a new bunny owner, but how old is your bunny?

My, now 11 week old, male will be so excited standing up and tipping his head back for a treat that he has done that! He’s done it since I’ve gotten him! Not every time – but maybe a 5 or 6 times. It’s like he’s still learning his balance. lol.

So I wasn’t concerned, but I’m going to follow your post in case anyone else has some more helpful thoughts

My Bam has done this plenty of times. Greedy bunnies! Keep an eye, if he seems to be in pain, have trouble moving around, refuses food or stops pooping, contact a vet.

Funny you made this thread today as my Peanut was periscoping whilst waiting for a treat and he stumbled backwards as he lost his balance. Silly rabbit I wouldn’t have thought it would cause an injury or anything that would warrant a vet visit

Little guy must have lost his balance. Its nothing to worry about unless he shows signs of sickness.

Ditto the others. I wouldn’t worry unless it becomes a regular thing.
