So, I noticed about 3 days ago one of my bunnies ears is constantly hanging down. He hasn’t put it up once the past 3 days. If I touch it he doesn’t seem to mind. Like he isnt in pain. And I can actually get him to hold it up just a lil. At first I was thinking maybe he is just comfortable that way. But the other ear stays up all the time. And before his ear was never down that long? I am thinking of going to a vet. Wanted to ask here first to see if anyone has had that happen before. Is it possible he may have broken it?? I’m worried bout the lil guy. Just dont knwo how/if he could have injured it.

Could be that his ears are now dropping or lopping.

OHHH. OKAY. yeah he’s 6 1/2 weeks now. didn’t know that would happen. Just found it odd because 3 days ago his ears were up like his brothers. Thanks for letting me know.

that’s it. Don’t be surprised if they end up not matching as an adult. A mixed breed can have the ears stay more or less permanently in several positions.

Our technical term for it here is “cute.” We require pix.

Yup, sounds like a case of “helicopter ears”.
