Hi i accidentaly spilled my coffee this morning and my rabbit came over and started licking it. I was wondering if this is going to harm her in any way?

She’ll probably be fine, don’t want to make a habit of it like we do though :~)

…A bunny on caffeine. The mind boggles….

Just make sure she has some fresh water and hay available to move it out of her system fast.

Monkey is always interested in my coffee… I tell her that she just doesn’t need anything that would make her even more psycho than she already is.

Monkey on caffeine and sugar… scary thought

It’s probably not enough coffee to do any damage- seems like there are a few bunnies who are into their caffeine fix though! The receptionist at our vet’s has a bunny who loves iced coffee- will go right after it if she leaves it unattended. They like such weird things. My bunnies don’t go for coffee, but once the kids dropped a chocolate chip cookie and one of the bunnies ate about half of it. It all turned out fine, but since then I’m pretty parinoid about dropped food. Chocolate can kill bunnies in large enough quantities. I guess the key is quantity- when our bunnies manage to get a hold of something forbidden, it’s usually just a little bit. Good thing!
