I adopted a bunny a week ago, she is 4 months old. When we first got her she was really timid and scared, she didn’t want to come out of her cage nor be petted. At around 3 days, I finally managed to get her out by offering a piece of banana. I had bought NIC grids to make a custom xpen that attached directly to her cage and let cage open so she could get exercise and go back to cage to eat, drink, and poop/pee. I saw her doing binkys in the xpen but noticed she didn’t have too much room so I expanded the xpen. By the 5th day, she seemed really happy, she did lots of binkys, had plenty of room, and had warmed up to me and allowed me to pet her. However the next morning I noticed she got out of the xpen and was exploring my room. I put her back in the cage/xpen but now shes chewing on bars and wants to get out. I would allow her to roam the room but would prefer to have things how they were before she escaped. Now I can’t sleep at night because she makes too much noise chewing and pulling on her cage and xpen bars. What should I do?
