  Yesterday my mom called and told me that one of my two buns had died. It is so very sad, I will miss him so much. He was living together with my other bun all his life, but his buddy seems to be doing fine concidering the circumstances. I feel so bad that I couldn’t be there, that makes it worse. But he was an old bun, he would have turned 8 in may. My mom said he was doing good earlier that day, the last time she checked on them before he died she gave them some banana, his favourite treat. Then he went underneath the chair and just fell asleep it seems.

  omg I am sooo sorry for your loss! Losing a Bun is never easy. I lost mine at 8 too! It’s agood thing he went peacefully to the rainbow bridge!!

  I’m so sorry to hear about your loss I’m glad to hear that the companion is doing OK, make sure to ask you mom to pay special attention to the companion just in case he/she starts to get a little depressed.

  Thanks you guys. It is really hard, but I guess that’s just the price everybody has to pay someday for having such a wonderful companion. He was a great bunny, very outgoing and curious. He was a little troublemaker but that made him just more lovable in my eyes. Yes i told my mom she needed to take extra care of the other one and she does, she gives him many treats and much attention to help him get past this. I told her to give him a little stuffed animal too in case he wants to snuggle.

  gosh that sounds so peaceful and you have the banana treat for him just b4. oh my. so sad. glad he wasn’t in pain may he have an easy trip and lots of fun in rainbow bridge sorry

  Thanks guys, my mom told me today that his little buddy is doing fine, he was even playing with her yesterday. I hope it stays that way. I would like to post a picture of the two for you to see but I don’t have any on this computer right now. They were quite a pair
