Soo…somehow Annabell has managed to get her fur dirty with something that looks kinda greenish. I tried using a wet paper towel and just cleaning the spot and it got some of it off but it’s still stained. Now she has some right by her nose too. Could this discolor be coming from her pellets or hay that might have been wet then stuck to her fur? Plus, how do I get the stain off her fur? I know I can’t give her a bath.

It does sound like a food stain. I would just leave it alone – it’s going to fade eventually. Cleaning it is going to be impossible and it’s just going to make her mad.

Some hays are even dyed to make them appear greener. She’ll probably do a fairly good job of grooming it off herself.

Could the green be from her vegtables? (parsley or cilantro maybe?)
I’d be a bit worried what the green is and where it is coming from.

You can whipe her with a wet cloth and a tiny amount of regular dish soap that is gentle, or a kitten/rabbit soap. I try and not use soap if possible, even the gentle stuff. Rabbit skin is delicate and sensitive.
Most stains from say litter, or grass just sort of gorw out, and we always worse if the rabbit is a lighter colour.

I was kind of thinking it was food related. She couldnt have gotten into anything else that was green. She has had parsley a lot lately and of course hay and pellets. I guess I will let it just fade away. She just looks so funny because its right in the center of her forehead. Go figure. Thanks so much everyone for the great suggestions.

Aw, what a silly bunny. Oliver does the same thing. We bought him a parsley roll to keep him busy when we’re not around, but he became a little too obsessed with it and it dyed the corners of his nose green. I freaked out when I first noticed it; I thought it was green snot! Rabbits are very meticulous groomers, so like others have already said, I’m sure the stain will go away on its own.

But if it doesn’t, they do make waterless pet shampoos, but I don’t know how safe they are for rabbits.

you can use pure cornstarch as a waterless shampoo on rabbits. No need to buy a overpriced petsrore product.
