Aspen has a vet appointment tomarrow and the only time she has been in the car is when i first got her. That was for only about 20 minutes and she thumped the whole time. Is there any way to make her more comfortable for tomarrows trip? Maybe put a towel and hay in the carrier? Thanks

i would definitely put a towel down. this will keep her snuggly, make sure she doesn’t slide around on the plastic, and in case she has a pee accident, it will absorb the moisture. keep the windows rolled up, radio turned down. drive straight there, and straight home. i seatbelt the carrier into the front seat so i can see them and talk soothingly to them during the trip. hay she would probably not even touch. you can put a little in there if you want, but in my experience, they are too freaked to eat in the car.

i don’t know of any buns that like car trips at all but she should be okay for a 20 minute trip there and back.

I think covering the carrier helps too.
