  Hey guys! It seems like all bunny owners agree that bunny butts are just the cutest. I thought it would be fun to share pictures of bunny butts.

  Jersey- The rescue believed he’s a dutch/britianne petite but he has silver martin markings, behind ears, bottom of his feet, nostrils. He’s adorbs. I need to post more pictures of him. I truly want to keep him but I don’t think I’ll be able to. Him and Bunjamin had an accidental meeting and it didn’t go over so well. Melvin says thanks too! He’ll do his “I’m supa fly” binkies for you.

  Oh, a seal point! I guess that’s a lot more accurate. I don’t know much about breeds or colors to be honest (slightly new bunny owner here). I was just browsing colors after I saw yours, and I saw Himalayan as the closest thing.
  
  I just google’d seal point and that looks more like it.

  MissD I saw Buddy’s picture and was like “I didn’t think that I put Skipper’s picture up there….” And then realized it was your Buddy. xD And no. Himies are different from seal point. When you’re talking about Himies you’re talking more about the breed. While seal points are more or less the coloring of the bun. Not to mention Himies have a little spot normally on their face and ears instead of the whole head and bum side. I honestly had no clue what seal point coloring was until my vet mentioned it.

  Skipper’s Mama: I can’t believe how similar they are. You need to post more photos of your little girl, she’s gorgeous. I was told at the rescue Buddy was a seal point before I adopted him, had no idea what it meant till after I took him home, googled it and got a picture of a bun that was a copy of Buddy. He’s changing his markings like nuts now. Thanks for the info, I though Himalayan was a kind of fur colour or something.

  No prob! =] And I know I’ve been slacking on the photo department since I got my new additions. I’ve been spending more time cleaning out cages then stalking them with the camera. xD Skipp’s coat has been changing like mad too! My vet said her color will darken up when it’s colder and lighten up once it’s hot again. We’ve been having crazy weather lately that is changing from hot to cold and poor Skipps has patches of white and gray on her little backside. xP =’D It’s seriously the cutest/saddest thing ever.

  Aww that’s so cute lol poor skip. :p. I have a husky mix and his coat changes with the season too. During the winter he becomes dark colored like gray and black but during summertime he will be such a pretty golden color! I love his summer coat. BUT my husband has terrible Bear allergies (he only has an allergy to bear and not Abbie for some reason. I’m assuming because Bear sheds and is 10 times Abbies size) so we have to keep him shaved down to reduce all the hair. He only gets about 3 months out of the year with his full coat (when he is not shedding) when he is shaved he is all white with a big black stripe from his shoulders allll the way to his bum so his coat has lots of different looks :p I love it.

  Skipper’s Mama, that’s correct. The colder it is, the darker they get. That’s why the points are dark, they are the coldest parts of the body. Our Siamese is the same way (I apologize, I know I shouldn’t talk about that dang cat all the time ).
  
  This picture was taken a couple of weeks after her surgery, you can see where they shaved her front leg for the IV. Naturally the skin got colder there and the fur grew back darker. Ever since then we’ve played with the idea of shaving tiger stripes or cheetah spots into her fur

  NewBunnyOwner oh my gosh!!!!! I’ve ALWAYS wanted a husky. The bf and I decided when the buns pass and we move, we’ll get a husky. We’re thinking of getting a corgi/husky mix. It’s honestly just too hot with the FL weather to keep a husky now. And we don’t want to scare the buns with having a dog. Since the bf is going into genetics we’re pretty much banking on having to move up north somewhere because of his job and whatever Masters or Doctorate program he choses.
  
  Hazel I love cats! I had actually grown with up cats. All of them rescues that I had brought home as a kid. xD And most of them being black. Haha. I love black cats. I would drive my mom nuts with how many cats I would bring home. We had a stray Persian that had made friends with our Mischka and decided to adopt us as her family. She was the sweetest cat ever and followed Mischka around like a puppy. =] I had wanted another cat or a ferret when Gilligan passed but it was the bf who decided to get Skipper.

  Skipper’s Mama: We had cats too, when I was growing up. Three at one point. They were all very sweet, as is Lily, but still she’s nothing like them. We really didn’t know what we were getting ourselves into when we got her. My dad calls her “special”.
