Hey, I currently own a 3 month old female mini holland lop and I found a breeder located very close to my area. The bunny I am interested in adopting in 4-5 months old so I am wondering how difficult it will be to bond them since they are both young and female. Not nutered yet, but I am planning on getting them fixed soon for health purposes. I also own a very large C+C rabbit cage and it’s just like those DIY rabbit condos but it’s only 1 story. I’m wondering if that’s enough for the both of them?

Me and my sister’s buns are those same ages, mine is 3 months, hers is about 5 months. They both really like each other, they like to snuggle and run around together. I think they should bond easier the younger they are, and since you are desexing, they might bond even easier as they won’t have raging hormones.
Unfortunately, me and my sisters buns can’t live together as we’ve recently discovered that my sisters bun is actually a boy, not a girl like we originally thought. We let them together under close supervision.
You might not be house them together on the first day you bring home the new bun, you’ll need to bond them in a neutral area neither bun has been first, like in the bathtub, and see how they like each other. It’s just that if your first bunny finds a stranger in her house there could be territorial fighting.
Good luck, and I want to know how it goes!
P.S. What do they look like and what are their names?

I moved this to the bonding-section.

I have 2 male mini lops one is 2 months and one is 3 month, both not castrated. I have tried bonding them but the older one humps and grooms the other one constantly. They are never aggressive towards each other. I was wondering if having them castrated may solve this issue and allow them to bond? Any advice? Thanks
