        1. My bun, Daisy, had 3 accidents upstairs in three days. Her pen is downstairs but we brought her upstairs to play. She had three accidents in three days. The most recent one, today, happened right after she came inside. (She goes in a pen outside to play/potty breaks) I also noticed that her tail and legs are frequently wet. I just changed her litter to a more absorbent one. Her tail and legs were dry for a few days, but now wet again. I don’t know if this could be from bladder issues? She is acting normal, as well as eating and drinking normally. We haven’t taken her to the vet yet. I don’t know if its serious.

I forgot to add that Daisy has been eating and drinking normally. She has also been acting normal, too. She doesn’t seem in pain at all

That does sound like she could have a bladder infection or possibly a kidney issue. Sometimes EC will also cause excessive urination and urinary incontinence. How old is Daisy, and is she spayed? Also, how often do you clean her litter box?

Also, does she have a litter box upstairs? Sometimes buns will mark in a new area, or if they are too far from their litter box they will just pick a new potty spot, but her legs and tail being wet is more concerning so I would schedule a vet visit to see what’s going on.

Daisy is about 1 1/2. She isn’t spayed yet but we will be getting her spayed soon. I clean her litterbox every 2-3 days. She doesnt have a litterbox upstairs but we put her outside for about five minutes every few hours so she can go if she needs to. If this happens again I will probably schedule a vet visit to make sure nothing is wrong.

I am also wondering if maybe the fur is too long around her tail area? Only the tipa of the fur around her legs are wet.

I agree. If she isn’t spayed, then it’s possible that this is marking “new territory”. The wetness though is something to be concerned about. But you’re saying it isn’t soaked… just some urine on the tips of her fur?

Yes, only the tips of her fur are wet. Which makes me think that her fur is too long around there?

Maybe… what are you using for litter? Does she sit in urine puddles?

I use compressed paper pellets. She doesn’t.
