She ate about 5 or 6 sticks of Trident three days ago. So far she is still eating well, but today I noticed her pellets are smaller in size.  I am afraid she will go into stasis. Is there anything I can give her to help her pass the gum? Will the gum come out all in a lump, or will it be contained in her pellets? Would papaya help? How about mineral oil or cat hairball remedy? I will take her to the vet if she stops eating, but I don’t have a lot of money so anything I can do to help her on my own first, I want to try. Thanks.

Lots of hay and water. Thats the best stuff to get things moving through. If you don’t see the gum soon, you will want to get her in, as it can cause a blockage.
