Mwhahahaha!  Thought you’d see pics of my bunny opening her prezzies, didn’t ya?

Okay, so as a first time bunny owner at Christmas . . . do you all let your bunnies open their own presents?? I kind of wanted Dutchess to open hers, but I’m not sure how that would go. My grandma is coming to stay with us, she’ll arrive the 23rd, so I’m thinking Dutchess is going to be a bit ‘off’ on Christmas Eve and even Christmas Day (she is NOT a new people person . . or rather, rabbit), so I don’t think she’d put much into trying to open them, she’d be in one of her safe ‘hiding’ spots. Am I wrong though? Do bunnies love to tear into those . . . ? I’m thinking I’ll be the one opening them, any tips to get her interested?

          Hmm I’m not sure, lol.

What is the paper made of? O_o;; I bought paper that is water based ink.. and someone JUST HAD to decorate my boyfriend’s gift… before.. and after I wrapped it. Lil bratkin.

I tried this last year – Otto nibbled at a corner for a second, then seemed completely uninterested. lol This is my first Christmas with Hannah – maybe she’ll be more interested. Plus, both of my bunnies eat a lot of the paper they shred and I’m sure wrapping paper isn’t good for them. Maybe I’ll grab a brown paper bag from the grocery store and wrap their stuff in that, then let them go to town on it while we open our presents.

I was thinking of wrapping them in plain typing paper, and maybe cutting a few spots so she’d have sort of a starting point to start ripping.

I might be wrong but I think typing paper has chemicals in it. I wrapped my buns presents with a paper bag.

I didn’t know that typing paper had chemicals in it x.x I suppose now it would. Hmmm . . . would regular paper with the lines be okay? I avoided that because the lines were ink and it wasn’t good for bun.

Andi: Your bun sure wants something from that gridle!
