Hi so I’m currently in renovations in my house. The whole house is crazy dusty and I believe it is messing with all of our pet’s health. My bunny just had the snuffles before renos and was fine, but his sneezes came back and his poops are still small during the day. The vets near me are hard to book for, and I am currently assuming that all of this is from the renovations. It’s pretty loud during the day and scaring the poor bunny and I’m scared it’s going to cause him to become sick again. I don’t know if I should wait a few weeks until the renos are done and see how he is, or drive somewhere and spend a fortune now? I’m a little conflicted and my bunny is a dwarf and already almost 8 years old so he’s nearing the end of his life sadly 🙁

Is there a more quiet area of the house you can move him to? Does he seem better in the evening once things quiet down?

8 is senior for sure, but he might have several more years in him, so don’t despair.

Stressors can dampen the immune system and cause something to flare up, so anything you feel you can do to relax him may be helpful. There’s also the understanding that he may adjust to the noise and things that are happening. If there is a lot of air irritants, definitely make sure there is good ventilation where he is.
